The successful applicant will help coordinate our Auckland
based fleet of heavy transport trailers and trucks that are
for sale. This is a hands on role and involves grooming
vehicles, moving them around and liaising on a daily basis
with customers and suppliers at all levels of the transport

Are you quick at gathering and analysing information and keen to help people
who need Police assistance? Then working as a Police Communicator could be
the job for you.
New Zealand Police is currently seeking staff to answer and process
non-emergency crime reports in its Communication Centre based in
Every call counts, so this is a job for people with exceptional interpersonal skills
who are quick on the uptake and emotionally resilient.
As a Police Communicator, you will initially answer and process non-emergency
crime reports into the Police national intelligence system. You will also answer
111 emergency calls and calls about less urgent incidents.
Whatever the call, your job is to sum up the situation, decide what needs to be
done and gather the right information to make it happen. You'll need to feel
comfortable taking charge when serious incidents occur and be committed to
providing a good service to the public.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent spoken English. You will need a
minimum typing speed of 40 words a minute and a reasonable geographical
knowledge of New Zealand. The ability to multi-task is a must. You'll also
be required to undergo a security clearance.
The Police Communication Centre operates around the clock every day of the
year, so we need staff who can work a flexible roster pattern.
You must be a permanent resident to be eligible for this role.
